1/8 inch ABS plastic, the same material your belly pan is built from, is used for the frames. Why
plastic, you ask? Conventional aluminum-framed vents, once bent or kinked in any area, are weakened forever.
ABS plastic will always retain its strength and want to return to its original shape. High-durability fiberglass tamper-proof
screen is coupled with Snowfilter material, then bonded to the frame with high-strength industrial epoxy. This results
in an extremely tough and durable vent that is highly resistant to trees and other objects, while also being very effective
at keeping snow out while allowing maximum air flow.
